Under the superscript 'T' are two more apostrophes (presumably indicating the elision of the middle of 'saint'), but nobody's complaining about that, are they? the language has moved on and we all know that ST means saint (even without a superscript T). So why make a fuss about 'PAULS'? People refer to St Pauls in London without an apostrophe all the time, the french don't use accents on capital letters, the apostrophe is problematic when categorizing names and most people have no idea how to use it. So stop fussing and let's think about important issues. Like this:
