missing the point - we scored 2 goals, and could have had at least one more
before they scored. We then conceded 2 poor goals, and after that you could see the confidence drain from the players. Whereas they had all wanted the ball and were all making runs, they all started to hide from it, and after that we never looked like scoring. This is NOT about a target man, it's about character in the team. The eleven who started that game were well capable of winning it easily, but they lack the confidence/guts to stand up to a team who starts out poorly but then improves dramatically, like Soton did last night.
