Renwed my season ticket yesterday. I say I renewed it what I mean is

I read the letter from the club that says.

"We're renewing your season ticket with the same direct debit details as you had last year. It will cost X amount which will go out on the Xth of the month. You only need to contact us if you don't want a ticket next year"

They must have got this idea from the idea that instead of people carying a donor card to notify people that they want to donate organs when they die they should have an opt out card and everyone has to donate.

Still my renewal works out 10 squids a month less than last year because I renewed on the day before they went on sale to the general public last year.

Quids in!
