The bare facts are that we have seven players available who were in the Champions League final. Croatia, meanwhile, call on players from Herenveen, Shakhtar Donetsk and Nantes.

Croatia is a fiercely nationalistic place and their football team reflects the enormous, unbeatable pride the players have fo the shirt.

But we have better players. Players who, for whatever reason, simply do not gel and do not perform to the best of their ability. It is so f**king frustrating! But I won't have it that we're 'not good enough' - more that performing well below par and have been for four years how.

This is what needs to be resolved. We don't need better players.
