jay simpson was lg1 player of the year last season
he must be pretty decent to have beaten the likes of jason scotland, james coppinger, kris commons, jonny howson etc, and i guess his poor strike rate of 8 in 45 could be put down to the fact that he was in a poor team fighting relegation, and may not have always been played as an out and out striker.
what are peoples opinions of him? would you be pleased to get him?
