The ref was not to blame, he got decisions wrong for both teams, and just generally kept his whistle in his pocket.

Marshall is one of the worst keepers we have had in net week in week out for us for a long time. His shot stopping can be brilliant, but his kicking is crap, he doesnt command his area, he looks scared when a ball is crossed, never comes to catch the ball, and tonight looked like he nearly got beat from 30 yards by a 4 mph shot. I would like to see Gilks given a go.

We need another Iwan type forward. We do not look like scoring which is a real worry given the upcoming fixtures.

Mo should not be our left back

Our passing generally needs to improve big time. So many passes go off the pitch.

Ryan Shawcross is a good sport, having a bit of fun with the ball/fans at half time

All in all a miserable evening, losing to a stoke side who were there for the taking since we bossed most of the game
