to be fair, isn't that how it should be?

Fans are always the ones whingeing loudly that the club should play better football and spend more on players etc etc so that their matchday experience will be better and yet an amazing number of them seem to think that someone else (for no easily explained reason) should cough up to provide all this for them? If you don't want to pay extra why should you expect anyone else to?
