Ok we can agree to disagree on the caring factor

As it is something neither of us can prove, they did all grow up wanting to play for England, but after they have done it a few times, do they then still care? Also money changes people and not for the better.

I agree with everything you say about coaching etc. But im afraid this will NEVER change. Before kids get to academys they are already tought the "English" ways. If you tried to pass the ball out of a tight situation when you were a child at school yu would get slated. "Just get rid of it". the school teacher/parents would cry.

There are far to many players out there who are fast and strong and cant play football. When you are young, teh big kid always goes up front or centre half and this continues right up to grass roots adult football
