There are dozens

of players available as good as Crow or Mulryne - but the aim is, and always has been under NW, to improve the squad. So they go, in the knowledge that a couple of last minute signings could plug the gap if no-one better comes along. Meanwhile City are not paying their wages and have released some cash when the right player(s) come along. All perfactly logical, but we hear the same indignant squeals almost every year at this time.
