Sadly the club seems confused
The signals in the summer were that older players were out ans younger players were in, hence the reason we weren't interested in Sutton and let Charlton go.
Now after everything else has failed we've gone and signed a 37-yr old probably because we can't get anyone else on loan.
Dublin would have been great about 7 years ago but the truth is that he was shifted to defence a few years back. So why are we spunking more money onto players who aren't going to have any future potential.
But it looks like we've learned nothing from last season despite Doncasters statements. If Rossi Jarvis can play left back and is fit then why are we giving valuable first team experience to someone elses player.
If Worthy needs a target man then the board needs to remind him that he deemed Peter Thorne a good signing for this role so why does he need another. He also thought Ryan Jarvis was worth keeping, he's over 6ft so why not find a pattern of play which would get the best out of a Jarvis/Earnshaw partnership.
Dublin may work out but I see he's been training with Leicester and even they weren't interested - they've turned to Carl Asaba, so what does that say?
