Averagely going forward, poorly in midfield (although Etuhu improved things)
and awfully at the back. Really really terribly awful.
Jarvis the Elder had what I thought was his best game for City (that I've seen at least), Eagle did well, McVeigh was good, Etuhu good.
Shackell had a *!*NIGHTMARE*!*. Endless freekicks given away 20-25 yards out, poor positioning, and seemed to lose the heid a bit too. He did make one excellent goal-line clearance after about 40 seconds, but I'm not sure he knew too much about it.
Two funny bits: Etuhu clearly made a Rotherham player s**t his pants towards the end when he got all up in his face and did aggressive finger pointy things: fair play - I guess Etuhu up close is a scary prospect.
Also after giving Gallagher the "Scotlands No. 1, etc etc", a small pocket of the fans did a sotto voce "Rotherham's 22, Rotherham's, Rotherham's 22" at their 'keeper (who was wearing 22).
