I've done that 0.01 thing for anything in the past
sold my mobile on there at 0.01 and it ended at ?200 odd
If you set the starting price off at ?150, you'll only get charged about ?3 for such a big starting price
You might find sniper sites good for bidding www.bidnapper.com (i think) gives you a trial for ten or so bids. It will bid for you with 3 seconds to go, so the seller won't have time to outbid you with another account they've registered (happens loads, you might have noticed yourself being outbid within an hour of bidding). You could do that too, get prags to register and bid up your own auctions :)
