Was going to point that out.

The man's deluded if he thinks it was 'average', particularly as he made it clear how he ripped into the team after the capitulation and subsequent draw at Southend.

It's a results business, no good bemoaning our luck and how we were worth something from the Palarse game. It's not going to help us come the end of the season by lamenting over the 20 or so points that got away.

And another thing, Worthy says...

?You want to win games, that's the bottom line,? said Worthington. ?We go out every single game to win, the attitude is to win, the focus is to win and the one thing you learn about football is as much as you want to win all the time you are not going to do that. You win some, lose some and draw some and it's keeping the belief, keeping the players believing and giving them that support."

Therein lies the problem. Too few of our current squad actually care enough about wanting to win. They simply don't care. As long as the pay cheque goes in their account at the end of the month, it's job done. Hucks cares passionately. Flem cares passionately. Neither are currently playing. Beyond that, you have to question who REALLY wants it.
