I don't see why supporting your club and not your country is such a problem to some though

We playing in a cosmopolitan league now where we watch various nations players do the business for our club sides week in week out

When those players you like pull on their international jerseys, I refuse to suddenly hate them because *stands up* "I'M ENGLISH!!!!!"

I also, and have never been able to do this, cannot support footballers I hate at club level just because they have a different colour shirt on

If that means I have mental issues, or im retarded, then think what you like

This also doesn't mean I pray for England to fail. If England won the world cup, I would be quite happy about it for this country, it's a great feel good factor

I won't be approaching the world cup though only screaming for England, when there's various nations I'll have an interest in watching, and players I want to see do well cos I like em

ie Ivory Coast - I like Drogba and Toure
Italy - I'd like to See how Gillardino and Toni do as the new breed of player, as well as the Udinese striker
Sweden - Svennson!!!!!
Trinidad and Tobago - Shaka!! Jamaican underdog factor
England - Crouch!!! Green, Joey Cole, Lennon, Reo Coker, James, few others probably
Argies - Messi, Crespo, Riquelme, Saviola (if he's sorted himself out to be good enough)
Serbia - Savo!! Great season for osasuna, hope he has a great world cup (could quite easily turn with Kezman there though :) )
Holland - haha not really a fan of any dutch players, most are cocks!
USA - Always like to see how they have come on in football as if football was successful in America football would be truely, globally massive
Brazil - What can you say, total football
Aussies - Same as Trinidad, underdog factor
France - haha no thanks, will laugh at any of their results
Spain - A couple of players I like, always a problem for them with them not being a fully united country though

That's it I suppose. Other nations will hopefully spring a surprise and I'll see some unknown talent shine. Good to approach a big tournamant enjoying football, not just sweating over whether we can win it
