I can defend his ideas, and I can defend the first team

But there are some things Hughton has done the whole time he's here, that have consequences. Tonight is example of consquences

As much as I want him to stay, some glaring errors have to be addressed

1. You owe the fans, and Becchio a full explanation to what you're playing at. I don't mean "Steve Morison wanted out so we got Becchio", that doesn't cut it. What is your problem with Becchio?

2 You put a second team out last season against Villa when people could see a great opportunity of a trophy. You let Paul Lambert rub his nose in our faces about that, he enjoyed every minute of you handing him the joy of sticking one on us. Not to mention the fact you didn't care about winning a trophy. Fans care about silverware

3 After the last few results, tonight should be an opportunity to express ourselves without fear of lost points. With that in mind, what the f**k is that line up? Literally, what..........the...........f**k? How is that line up productive for Saturday. How is it productive for anything? In fact, all you're doing is making a fellow relegation threatened team feel more confident about the weekend

I actually don't mind Hughton's methodical way of building a team.

But, Duke of York, in answer to your question to admckechnie. That's how you could change from an inner to an outer in one go. You have someone's back through everything, but if you're just going to stand in front of an opposition and accept being killed without a fight, then you threaten people's respect for you in the blink of an eyelid

I'm still with Hughton, but we have to get at least a point against Hull, and points after. Otherwise I'm changing over as well. Tonight is insulting
