They might not normally want to come. But the lure of being in the prem and therefore on tv / stream every single game to showcase their talents hoping for a place in the World Cup squad is something we can offer, and because we are not hooge, they have more chance of more playing time. This is a perfect opportunity to get those guys in. The older ones, toivonen and quagliarella, have a lot of caps but are facing the bench this coming season. Once they are in, they should be committed because of their World Cup dream if nothing more, and then of course will fall in love with ncfc. Either stay happily giving their all, or move on for a big fee (or just be rubbish). And with them in, it increases the chances of attracting other big names.

I think it is a genius tactic.
