No pundit, no journalist, no bookie, no nuetral
is tipping us to go down. Nobody. Not one.
We've been mentioned as being "in the mix", but not one has gone out on a limb and said it'll be Norwich who go down.
Ah you say, but what after today?
Listened to Darren Fletcher and Robbie Savage this evening. Aside from QPR and Reading on getting regulated, which both were in agreement with, Savage went for Sunderland, Fletcher for Wigan.
It's only some of us with our green and yellow specs on, who are looking at us and only us.
OK so we're not winning, but we avoiding defeat in more games than not. That is the key to our survival this season.
There is a bigger picture, there are other teams, some of whom can hardly buy a point at the moment.
Wigan and Villa have both won three out of their last four games. Would you swap league places with either of them right now?
We're not making things easy for ourselves, but making sure we don't lose games and keep the points ticking over across the season is what will ultimately ensure we remain in the Premier League next season.
End of.
