Lots of young men from this country and elsewhere in the world died in Italy fighting Mussolini's fascist regime, many from the North East, grandfathers and great Uncles of Sunderland supporters no doubt among them.

They have appointed a manager who thinks that Mussolini is a hero and has a tattoo in tribute to him.

If I was a Sunderland supporter I'd be giving my season ticket back.

Sorry to see the usual left right split and people trying to justify his appointment, I really thought everyone would find this disgusting.
