"Hughton Out" calls would be ludicrous. But his substitution tactics are nonsensical
Home to West Ham, team has totally lost its way. But he doesn't aim for 2 more points and bring on Wes for, say, Surman, as he's worried about conceding. Away to Newcastle he does bring on a short-arse for Surman in hope of getting 1 point. It's just ridiculous. Equally moronic was his freezing out of Hoolahan until yesterday, as I think Wessi ably demonstrated. Equally moronic was starting the season with Holt alone up front despite all the prior evidence that this doesn't work. And then slagging off the players all week instead of questioning his own decisions. Not impressed so far.
