Lambert is very obviously the messiah

However, let's not read anything particularly messianic in to the transformation from Wednesday to today.

Sunderland outplayed us for a number of reasons, but overall it was mainly because they are one of the best sides in the country on current form, it was a second away game in five days for us and two or three of our players, in key positions had shocking games which reverberated around the whole team.

Today, we were back at Carrow Road, playing against a Bolton team who looked utterly awful collectively, and in a number of key positions, and we replaced two of the off form players from Wednesday with players who were bang on their game today.

It happens! Sometimes things are just set against you, sometimes things are perfectly set up to your advantage. But was some kind of miracle performed? Hardly. I expected us to lose on Wednesday and win today. If we had lost at home to Bolton and then gone and won at Sunderland then some of the wonderment would be justified. But really, to be absolutely honest, they were two fairly predictable results given where we, and the teams we were playing, are right now.
