But you have just gone for the "have you ever" comment. I did the follow up above

because I know the other way I'd have answered, would have incurred the "this is how it goes weird". So I tried something else

My 'fav' refs? I don't have a fav. Consistently equal in all games? Lee Probert probably is the most consistent if that counts as a fav. Some refs I'm 'ok' with, because of their style, rather than their big calls. Foy will stand firm and not fall for crowding players. He won't give pens unless he definitely saw it. I like that

Here's a list of them. I'll make general comments next to them

M Atkinson - Yes, I think fifa like him on international games too
S Attwell - Hasn't ever been a game where he's not the centre of attention, then the terrible decisions follow
M Clattenburg - Same as Attwell, but older
M L Dean - Got better with age, would be ok if he was on our game
P Dowd - No way, massive chip on his shoulder. Just go to his last game. Adament he was right, shouting at players, Red card was rescinded. Man U would have beat Wigan, but not 5 nil. He had too much of a stake in that, and got it wrong on top
C J Foy - Yes, stands up to players and lets most players have "one" before booking them
K Friend - Not a fan, no particular reason, just not confident when he's refereeing
M R Halsey - Dangerous referee. I might link up the amount of games he does, to injuries to players. There's letting a game go, and there's letting everything go. The two are very different
M J Jones - Shocking ref, the type to crumble to top 4 teams crowding him
A Marriner - Good one day, goes like M Jones the next. If he was on our game, I'd hope for the 'good one day'
Lee Mason - No way, He's the type of ref that sorts out a fight between two players, by booking the one that punched first, and sending off the player who retaliated.
Jonathan Moss - He lets stuff go, but is new, not sure about him
M Oliver - Fast becoming a good referee, he always was in the championship. He appears to be believing in himself rather than following rules. When he was following protocol, he was making shambolic mistakes. He reffed our game with Spurs how he wanted to, and it paid off
Lee Probert - If I had a fav, he'd maybe be it, most consistent in decisions, whether we're playing Northampton, or Man utd. I have no problem with that
Neil Swarbrick - New I think, and has made blunders on our games.
A Taylor - Young guy I think. I don't think I've seen enough. He hasn't done anything wrong, unless I haven't seen it
P Walton - Goes with the Probert comment, consistent with most games
Howard Webb - Same as Halsey, if you want a player from each side stretchered off, this is the man for the job. I don't like officials who don't have the safety of the players in mind. There's a massive difference in doing nothing, and letting a game flow

:)
