what is worrying is that...............

the music industry is not creating new artists who can tour worldwide.

I have listened to several recent interviews where the artists are saying the same thing.

It used to be you toured and made money from the album sales.......Now the only people making money are those who make money from touring...... and thats becoming less lucrative by the year......

There are few modern acts that can tour the US now and sell out 15-20K arenas.

The rockers who can are just getting older and older with few artists coming behind them.

Country acts are even having to do double and triple bills to sell enough tickets.

Its much worse in the US than Europe where at least you have the festival scene

At this rate in a few years we will be left with U2 as the last stadium act standing...........
