cheers, it's probably quite a simple thing for a boiler specialist

basically I've got one of those gas boilers that heats the water when you open the hot tap. However, it's getting warm here now (30?C) and even though the external thermostat is as low as it can go, the water comes out totally scalding.
To me this seems very wasteful since I have to dilute it with loads of cold water to be able to have a shower and not boil myself to death. I'm wondering if there's an internal thermostat or some other way of reducing the amount of gas burned.
