My thoughts

I don't think the diamond works at home. Teams come here with five in midfield and outmanouevre us. Adams said we were playing a flat four, but if we were then Lappin and Smith (K) were playing too narrow. We had no width at all until Ant Mac came on, and they just ran rings round us.

Also, Crofts is far too effective going forward to waste him chasing around in front of the back four.

The trouble is, playing both Wessi and Ant Mac would leave us a bit exposed defensively, but I think I'd rather see us a bit more gung ho at home and try to really go at teams, like Blackpool did last season.

I think the reason Holt is frustrating a few people this season is that he appears to be more concerned with trying to win free kicks than winning the ball a lot of the time. He's definitely below par, but he's still giving it everything. He's no world-beater, indeed he's no Iwan, but he's the only player of his type we've got.

Maybe he does need a rest, like Wessi and Korey had, though.

Good to see Martin back to his best - by far the best he's played in all his sub appearances. He probably deserves a start, but if he does start then we need Ant Mac in the team for some pace.

Ruddy doesn't appear to be a very lucky keeper...

Martin (R) has been a revelation this season. Very good again.

Smith (S) was poor, as was Lappin.

Don't boo.
