Zuluvulvas - make of this utterly unscientific sample what you will ...
If you watch a game on the BBC and listen to the regular match commentary, you can hear the zuluvulvas really clearly (this is not news to you). Occasionally you might hear a chant quietly underneath that, but not very often.
If you go onto the Red Button, and select "No Commentary" from the audio options (it is there, I was using it over the weekend - HURRAY!) you can hear the crowd much more clearly and the zuluvulvas appear to be much quieter.
So there you go. I offer no explanation, although there are a number of obvious possibilities.
