Y'see, here's the thing.

Had Col Who just have said 'This is the away allocation, sorry but that's your lot. We tried a greater allocation with Leeds but it inconvenienced our fans too much and with all due respect to the rest of the league, our fans are more important to us' there wouldn't have been all this bollocks, and you sure as hell wouldn't have half as many NCFC fans looking to get tickets in the home end.

Because he took it too far with the digs about the rest of it, not only has he inflamed the situation, he's also ensured a nasty atmosphere cos of the presence of away fans in the home area, which will lead to already primed over-zealous stewarding.
