I think you probably already know this, but the whole campaign is about motivating people

to have their say about the Cowell/X Factor machine, a backlash against another insipid, cynically marketed, 'pop' song dominating the media for the Christmas period - that's all. 'tain't no big thing, but Cowell and the Beeb are pissed off by it.

Of course, you can donate to SHELTER independently of the campaign.
