hare goo...
I've not used these specific multitraker units before so I can't give you a first hand impression of them.
I've used many BossRoland products before and they're normally decent quality, reliable and relatively intuitive. Zoom tend to be a cheaper alternative and whilst offering more features, the extra features aren't necessarily well put together and tend to be awkward to use. (The drum/bass sampler sequencer thingy looks to me like a strange add on. I doubt it's much cop.)
It greatly depends what you plan to be doing with it. Will you just be using it as a notebook for jotting musical ideas with vocals guitar/piano, will you aim to be crafting samples and loops, What instruments will you be recording? Are you looking to record live stuff? full band?
With any all-in-one solutions they do have their limits, and what you plan to do with them will dictate how quickly you will grow out of it. You will no doubt find that many features you won't use on some units whilst others lack inputs or hardware which you will use in the future.
In my experience it's best to build up your studio bit by bit, invest in quality and in something that you won't have to sell on e-bay six-nine months down the line, a good rule is to ensure you buy quality nearer the sound source (for example, it's always worth investing in a decent mic, good leads rather than the actual device you are recording on to)
Let me know what you're looking to do and I'll be happy to recomend what gear you'll need.
